Working With The Elderly Patient

Workshop Information:	This half day workshop is designed to suit practising Holistic Practitioners and members of the medical and caring professions.
Course Content:	Clinical overview of the elderly patient, Nursing home trial results relating to uses and effectiveness of aromatherapy, The nature of Alzheimer's and other diseases, Conditions affecting the elderly - lethargy, sleeplessness, mood swings, and depression, Recommended essential oils for use, Suggested recipes and compresses to use.

Infertility & Aromatherapy for Babies and Children

Workshop Information:

This half day workshop is designed to suit practising Holistic Practitioners and members of the medical and caring professions.

Course Content:

Infertility: What can be done to help, Suggested oils to promote relaxation and relieve anxiety.

Babies & Children: Suggested oils for newborn to 12 years, Suggested recipes for teething, coughs, colds, and the environment of babies' and children's rooms, How aromatherapy can help the hyper child.

Other Information:

This afternoon session workshop takes place on 24th July 2000. Cost: �35.00 + VAT

Alternatively, both workshops can be attended for a reduced fee of �55.00 + VAT.

These courses are recognised by IFA ITEC & IAIM as post graduate hours. A certificate will be awarded to each successful candidate.

Working With Cancer Patients

Workshop Information:	This course is designed to suit practising Aromatherapists and members of the medical and caring professions.
Course Content:	Aromatherapy for Carers, The Nature of Cancer, The Stages of Cancer and its Treatments, The Role of Aromatherapy and/or Massage and other Complementary Therapies, The Importance of Therapeutic Relationship and Referral Criteria, The Approach to Massage Conditions where Special Care is Needed, Recording Information and Expanding Knowledge with or without Essential Oils, Which are the Best Essential Oils to choose.

Aromatherapy And Postnatal Care

Workshop Information:	This course is designed to suit practising Aromatherapists and members of the medical and caring professions.
Course Content:	Key Physical and Emotional Changes which occur after Childbirth, Post Natal Depression, Treating Post Natal Ailments, Aromatherapy and Breast Feeding, Supporting the New Mother; Information on Baby Massage, Close of Course with Question and Answer Session.
