Reflexology ITEC AOR Diploma 

Pre-Requisites:

ITEC Anatomy & Physiology Diploma or equivalent.

The Diploma:

Students will be guided through the history and philosophy of this age-old therapy. We will cover the reflex zones and the related reflex areas as well as common disorders and ways in which to treat them. This course is essentially split into three main parts and will be taught over four weekends, the fifth weekend will be for revision purposes. Anatomy and Physiology can also be integrated in a 4 day workshop for students who do not hold a recognised A & P diploma. 

Part 1:

Theory: - History, Theory and Philosophy, Contra-indications and Precautions, Techniques, Concepts and Theories, Zones and their Relation to Organs and Functions, Philosophy of Complementary Medicine, Holistic Approach, Integral Biology, Visual Aids/Charts, Professional Ethics and Code of Practise.

Practical: - Feet Structure, Disorder and Conditions, Reading the Feet, Sequence, Interpretation of Reflexes, Client Care and Preparation, Consultation and Record keeping.

Homework:

Complete Training Manual for Reflexology, Obtain Personal First Aid Certificate, Complete 60 Case Studies (10 Clients X 6 Treatments), Revise Anatomy and Physiology and submit assessments to schedule provided.

Part 2:

A Recap of Part 1, First Aid Certificate Verification, Practical Assessment, Hand Reflexology.

Part 3:

Recap of Practical Assessments so far, Mock Theory and Practical Examination.

The written and practical examinations taken will be the AOR and ITEC.
